Use cases
What each team hands to Ogno.
Each team gets its own Ogno, with its own tools and knowledge. This page covers operations, finance, revenue, support and IT, and where a named person approves.
01Operations
Overdue asks get an owner and a reminder.
Today: Asks get made in threads and forgotten. Managers type "Update?" by hand, and the weekly status takes an afternoon.
One name on every ask
Ogno notices requests and promises in your channels, writes each down once, and gives it one owner and a due date.
Follows up once, escalates once
A single reminder to the owner, one note to the team owner if it slips, and a daily roll-up instead of a meeting.
What's overdue this week, and who owns it?
4 items. The vendor access review is 2 days late; Lena owns it and I reminded her yesterday. The other 3 are due Friday.
Posting outside the team channel asks the team owner first.
02Finance
Close without the spreadsheet relay.
Today: Every month someone exports invoices, matches them to purchase orders by hand, and emails the exceptions around.
Checks every bill against last month
Describe the rule once: "ask Amanda when a bill is 25% higher than last month." Ogno runs it on every new bill.
Reconciles in its own sandbox
It matches invoices to POs with a script it writes and runs, then hands back the exceptions with every source cited.
Which October invoices have no matching PO?
23 of 2,184. The report is ready with each invoice linked. Two vendors account for 15 of them.
Refunds and payments always wait for a named approver.
03Revenue
Know which accounts are at risk before the call.
Today: Renewal risk lives across the CRM, support tickets and billing, under three different names for the same customer.
Joins the systems for you
Ogno knows Acme Freight Inc., ACME FRT and acme_freight are one customer, and answers across all three.
Briefs the owner
Before a renewal call, the account owner gets open escalations, billing status and the last conversation in one place.
Which customers renewing this month have open escalations?
Seven. Acme Freight is the riskiest, with 4 open tickets and an invoice 12 days past due. Priya owns it.
Emails to customers end as drafts until the owner sends them.
04Support
Escalations with the whole story attached.
Today: Agents jump between the help desk, the CRM and Slack to understand who a customer is before they can help.
Context on every escalation
Ogno pulls the account, contract and recent history into the thread, citing where each fact came from.
Drafts the reply
It writes the response from your policies and past answers. A person reviews and sends it.
What should I know before replying to Harbor Logistics?
They're on the Enterprise plan, renewing in March, with one open outage ticket. The refund policy says credits need Finance.
Nothing goes to a customer without a person sending it.
05IT
Access reviews that collect their own answers.
Today: Quarterly access reviews mean chasing every manager for a yes or no across a dozen tools.
Collects the answers
Ogno asks each manager about their team’s access, once, records the answer and escalates the stragglers.
Keeps its own access narrow
IT sets the organization ceiling, and each team owner chooses on one page what Ogno can read. New tables and folders arrive switched off.
Who still has access to the old billing system?
11 people. 8 have confirmed they still need it. I asked the managers of the other 3 and will follow up Thursday.
Removing access is always proposed, never done on its own.
